ABout the Artist
From and early age, Leslie Triesch was interested in art. She began drawing horses before she could read or write. That obsession with horses, and with animals in general, has led her to make a career of painting them. Triesch studied art at Alvin Community College, and later at Southwest Texas State University. She has won awards at several art competitions, and her work has been featured in equine publications such as Western Horseman and Arabian Horse Times magazines. She has studied under such notable Western artists as Howard Terpning, Jill Soukup, and Peggy Judy. Triesch paints in oils and acrylics. She currently resides with her husband on her farm in Montrose, Colorado.
