The second week in November, hotplates, irons, dye vats, fans, drying racks and fabric will transform the upstairs of the Blue Pig into a weekend batik studio. Long-time batik artist, Susan Metzger will help you to explore the mysteries of batik.

Create a three color batik aspen. Susan Metzger will lead you in a step by step process to create your own golden aspen batik Fabric images start the same, but by the end of the class no two batiks will be the same. You can even create a second batik of your own design. Class size is limited to 10.

Beginner to experienced welcome.
